Every language lover has a chosen author, whether for prose or poetry. For Soetkin (26/9/69-17/4/2013) it was Charles Bukowski (†). In her legacy we found, among other titles, the book 'Betting on the Muse', poems and stories by the mentioned above Charles. For those who know Soetkin’s poetry/Spoken Word, he was clearly an inspiration for her and she admired him. Therefore, on the anniversary of her death, the poem below by the great Charles.

the hyena,
the tick,
the rat,
the roach,
each filled
with their
swollen
light.
my light is
out.
